Bedford, Indiana Crop Circles

“Crop circles” were spotted near Sandpit and Mitchell roads in Bedford Friday.

- Sent from H - There were some crop circles formed in my town ( Bedford, In) a couple nights ago. They cover about 3 or 4 acres and are on both sides of a road. It's obvious that it wasn't just someone driving around in a field. There are no tracks at all. Everything is smashed down perfect and in the same direction. There are suppose ably a few eye wittinesses who thought they saw something in the sky. Maybe a UFO?   I was wondering if there is any investigators in the Indiana region that would investigate this bizarre happening.

Mid Missouri at its finest

Story and Photos by Richard Blandd

          File Under: Strange Roadside finds
Location:  Missouri, strange objects, roadside attractions

Richard Bland writes: "I spend a great deal of my spare time riding a bicycle.  It provides me physical
fitness as well as mental stability.  While riding, I am often able to soul search
and contemplate many of life's mysteries.  In fact, many times, I find solutions to
the problems created by the fast-paced society of today.

During the weekend of September 10 and 11, I participated in the 21st annual MS 150
bicycle tour, which took place in Columbia, MO, and the surrounding rural area.  I
truly knew I was in Mid-Missouri when I came upon a quite unique sight.  It left me
pondering some of life's mysteries for the entire weekend.  In fact, I am still
thinking about it a week later.  I'm not sure there is any other explanation then,
"it's Mid-Missouri""

Fuct In The Midwest

- Story and Photos by Karl Stover

          File Under: Fuct
          Location:  St. Clair County, Illinois

On April 12th of this year I was charged with a Class A Misdemeanor of Battery in St. Clair County, Illinois. Our speedy blue messenger of a mail carrier had maced my dogs, and then myself. At which time I pushed him away. Evidently your not able to defend yourself when confronted by a federalDog employee? When the police arrived some time later I was cuffed, stuffed and taken to the county jail to be processed. Luckily, I have made many friends over the last three decades, and an old friend was working admitting at the jail. He had fast tracked me and I was on my way, and back to teaching the youth of today at St. Louis Community College. No worries right?

Well, a couple of months ago my lawyer, Seth, put in a plea of not guilty with the County Clerk. Today, August 17th, was my bench trial date. Everything seemed to be going in my favor. I am a productive member of society as a college educator, there were no injuries to the “victim”, I was on the defensive, and there was no reason for this person to even show up except to be vindictive. It is needless to say that we were confident in my position of self-defense. Sometimes confidence is a bad thing. I was convicted of Battery in the Circuit Court of the Twentieth Judicial Court. Why is this worth writing about? Again, I am a college educator. Colleges and Universities do not hire criminals. I am a criminal serving an 18 month probation.

 Think.

The Wisconsin man, 34, is facing a felony charge for allegedly making an indecent proposal to a female real estate agent. Seems the creepy Kayhart approached the agent at the end of a May 21 open house and asked if she would take $500,000 for the home (which was being offered at only $145,000). Kayhart then handed her his handwritten purchase proposal, a three-page document that included an itemized list of six sex acts (labeled A-F) that the agent would have to perform to close the deal.... East Chicago Officials Turn Off 'Jesus Light'

Jl

EAST CHICAGO, Ind. (AP) - City officials have turned off a streetlight that drew more than 250 people to see a shadow that some say resembles the image of Jesus Christ.

East Chicago Police Chief Angelo Machuca called an emergency meeting Sunday to recommend the light be turned off in the interest of public safety after nearby residents complained about blocked cars and visitors congregating until 5 a.m.

Several arrests were made Friday night after a large fight broke out in the area.

"The city respects everyone's religious beliefs, but it's getting to the point now where it's almost too dangerous" to leave the light on, said Damian Rico, the city's public relations director.

People have flocked to the site since Wednesday, when a woman first claimed to see the image on the side of a tree. The image is only visible at night when the streetlight near the tree is illuminated.

Machuca said his department doesn't have the manpower to maintain regular patrols and control the crowd.

"The light will remain off until we can get some kind of solution," he said.

Seidl, 39. The rocket, which could probably be triggered from the driver's seat, was found stuffed with methamphetamine, with more (totaling about $145,000 worth) in pipes alongside. The patrolmen who arrested the pair believe the contraption was for quick disposal of their inventory if they got cornered... View: Full Article | Source: AP News
